How are Dell Pro laptops?

Dell has brought its Pro series into three parts. Pro 3, Pro 5 and Pro 7 will get the option of Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors. All these laptops support On-Device AI, which means features like Copilot will run directly on the laptop.

Pro 7 is the most premium of all. It comes in 13 and 14 inches, with a 2-in-1 option as well. Some models also have an OLED display, an 8-megapixel camera and a Mini-LED keyboard. The company says the 13-inch Pro 7 is 18% thinner than the previous model.

The Pro 5 comes in 14 and 16 inches. It has both Intel and AMD options. It also gets a megapixel HDR camera, 400 and 500 nits display options and an OLED screen. It has a large 70Wh battery.

The Pro 3 is the lightest and cheapest option. It also comes in 14 and 16 inches. Its weight starts at just 1.31 kg and it supports Wi-Fi 7. Dell claims battery life of up to 23 hours in some models.

What is a workstation? Who is it for?

Heavy tasks such as AI training, large rendering, engineering simulations cannot be done on a simple laptop. For that Dell has brought Precision 9 series. It has T3, T4 and T6 tower workstations.

It gets Intel Xeon 600 series processors with up to 86 cores and Nvidia RTX Pro Blackwell graphics. In the T6 model, you can install 15 PCIe slots and 5 graphics cards. It can accommodate up to 316 TB of storage. So this is a small server. It is made for engineers, architects, designers and AI developers.

Apart from this, Dell has also introduced 7 R1 rack workstation. Keep it in one place in the office and everyone can use it remotely. It comes with up to 128 GB of RAM and 64 TB of storage.

New monitor and webcam

Dell also launched two new monitors. The first is the Dell Pro 43 Plus 4K. It's a large 43-inch monitor made for meetings. It has Sony's 8 megapixel 4K camera, 4 mics and 2 large speakers. It has AI group framing, which automatically frames everyone in a meeting. It is certified for Zoom Rooms.

Another is the Dell Ultrasharp 32 4K QD-OLED. This is for creators. 31.5-inch 4K display, 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support and 99% DCI-P3 color. It also has a built-in colorimeter.

Finally Dell Pro 7 Webcam 4K. This webcam records 4K video at 60fps. It has AI auto-framing, face tracking, autofocus. The company said that all these business laptops have a security feature called Dell Trusted Workspace. Everything from the BIOS to the operating system will be protected.
