Cat Cat Community Tourism Village (Lao Cai Province)
Cat Cat village is three kilometers from Sa Pa on the road to Fansipan. Home to the Mong ethnic minority, the village dates back to the mid-19th century. Since then, it has grown into a community tourism site. Cat Cat attracts visitors who are keen to explore the culture of Vietnam’s northwestern highlands.
A stone path winds down the mountainside past terraced rice fields and wooden houses. Streams, water wheels, wooden bridges, and Tien Sa Waterfall form the landscape. The Mong people grow rice and practice traditional crafts like linen weaving and silver carving.
