UP News: Yogi government has taken another important initiative in the direction of linking cow conservation with rural economy and self-reliance in Uttar Pradesh. An MoU for technical cooperation has been signed between Uttar Pradesh Goseva Aayog and 'Partners in Prosperity' (PNP) to convert the dung available in cow sheds into clean energy, organic fertilizer and resources for natural farming. Under this, along with providing technical assistance to Deenbandhu Model Biogas plants in the state, about Network of 1,000 technical expert personnel Will be prepared.

Technical network will be ready for Deenbandhu biogas plants

The main objective of this initiative is to develop technical arrangements at the local level for Deenbandhu model biogas plants installed in cow sheds and to be installed in future. A network of 1,000 technical personnel, to be built in a phased manner, will support installation, operation, maintenance, training and field monitoring of the plants.

According to the PNP, the organization has so far been in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. More than 3,900 Deenbandhu biogas units Has been constructed. The institution will provide technical support ranging from technical design of the biogas project, assessment of cow dung and feedstock, plant construction, operation and maintenance, training of beneficiaries and field monitoring.

Energy from cow dung as well as organic fertilizer

In this model the use of cow dung will not be limited to making biogas only. There is a plan to link the bio-slurry coming out of the biogas plant to farming in the form of organic fertilizer and bio-input. This can also create possibilities of promoting natural and regenerative agriculture and reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers.

Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Cow Service Commission Shyam Bihari Gupta Said that instead of seeing cow dung only as waste, there is a need to use it as an important resource for energy, organic agriculture and rural income. According to him, by technically strengthening the Deenbandhu biogas model and implementing it on a large scale, cowsheds, farmers and rural families can benefit at many levels.

He said that through this initiative, an effort is made to develop a circular economy by linking cow conservation with clean energy, organic fertilizers and sustainable agriculture, which can generate employment, energy savings, agricultural productivity and environmental benefits.

Efforts to make cowsheds self-reliant

This initiative is being considered important in the cow protection model of the Yogi government because an effort is being made to link the resources of cow sheds with the rural economy. After producing energy and organic fertilizer from cow dung, it can be used in farming, which can lead to better utilization of the resources of cowsheds and also create economic opportunities for farmers and rural families.
