Delhi Police has detained Swatantra Bhardwaj from Bulandshahr following a protest at Parliament Street Police Station in connection with the Nishu Azad case.

A team from CJP had reached the police station seeking action and demanding Bhardwaj's arrest. Following the protest, police assured the team that he would be arrested within 72 hours.

Bhardwaj was subsequently detained by Delhi Police from Bulandshahr.
