Credit Card For Students: In today’s time, credit cards are not limited only to employed people. People have started using credit cards even in rural areas. People use credit cards for online shopping and any digital payment. In such a situation, this question often comes in the minds of students studying in college or university that if they neither have a job nor any other source of income, can they get a credit card?
Credit card is a kind of lending facility. The bank or card issuing company gives a fixed credit limit to the customer, which can be used for purchases or payments. Let us know whether banks give credit cards to students without jobs or not.

Will students get credit cards without earning?

The bank has its own terms and conditions for issuing credit cards. According to media reports, credit cards are not given to students only on the basis of income, but there can be many other grounds as well. Instead of taking a credit card, students can take a secured card against fixed deposit (FD). Apart from this, students can take an add on card linked to their parents’ credit card. For a secured credit card, you will first have to make an FD in the bank. On the basis of this, the bank issues this credit card to the students.

Add-on Credit Card

If you are a student then you can also avail the benefit of add-on credit card. It is linked to their parents’ existing credit card. If one of the parents already has a credit card, then you can get another card made in your name, which will be made on the same basis. To get this card made, you will have to provide documents like PAN card, college ID card, passport size photo as well as Aadhar card.
