Tezzbuzz Desk- If pimples appear frequently on the face and the problem increases due to oily skin, then Neem can be used in the skincare routine. This simple face pack made with Neem and Aloe Vera can help soothe the skin and manage excess oil. However, people with sensitive skin must do a patch test before use.
A pimple appearing on the face and a new pimple appearing at another place within a few days after it gets cured can be very disturbing. This problem is especially seen in oily and acne-prone skin. In such a situation, many people start trying different skincare products continuously.
If you want to try an easy option at home, you can use a face pack made from Neem and Aloe Vera. Neem contains compounds that may have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, while aloe vera may help cool and moisturize the skin. However, it is not a cure for pimples and in case of persistent or severe acne it is better to consult a dermatologist.
These things are needed to make Neem face pack
- Neem powder- 1 teaspoon
- Aloe vera gel- 1 to 2 teaspoons
- Water- as per need
If possible, use neem powder prepared from clean and well-dried neem leaves.
Prepare face pack like this
First of all, take one spoon of neem powder in a clean bowl. Add one to two spoons of aloe vera gel in it. Now add some water as per requirement and mix everything well. Keep the consistency of the paste such that it can be easily applied on the face. Do not make it too thick or watery.
Right way to apply on face
Before applying the face pack, clean the face with a mild face wash and pat dry with a soft towel. Now apply a thin layer of paste prepared from Neem and Aloe Vera on the face. Keep it away from eyes, lips and areas with cuts or open wounds. Leave the face pack on for about 10 to 15 minutes. After this wash the face thoroughly with normal water. After cleaning the face, you can apply light moisturizer according to your skin.
How many times a week is it okay to apply?
If you are using this face pack for the first time, then start with once a week. If there is no irritation or dryness on the skin, it can be used maximum twice a week. It is not necessary that applying face pack repeatedly will cure pimples quickly. Excessive use may cause skin irritation or dryness.
Do a patch test before using it for the first time
Neem does not have the same effect on everyone's skin. Therefore, before applying it on the face for the first time, it is better to apply a small amount on the hand or behind the ear. If irritation, itching, redness, swelling or any kind of allergy is seen, do not apply it on the face and stop using it.
How can it be beneficial for skin with pimples?
Some natural compounds present in Neem have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. For this reason, Neem has been traditionally used in skin care. At the same time, aloe vera can help in keeping the skin calm and hydrated. Still, it is important to understand that Neem face pack is not a sure cure for acne. If you have persistent painful pimples, excessive acne, blemishes or frequent breakouts on your face, it is better to consult a dermatologist instead of relying on home remedies.
