Lucknow: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has criticized the demolition of a mosque in Saharanpur, alleging that those involved in removing religious structures cannot claim to follow the principles of Sanatan values.

Reacting to the action, Yadav said that respecting all religions and maintaining harmony is an important part of Indian culture. He questioned the demolition of places of worship and said such actions go against the spirit of mutual respect.
