Tezzbuzz Desk – The film 'Hanuman Ansh' based on Neem Karoli Baba is in discussion these days. Even though the film got a slow start at the box office in the initial days of its release, gradually its popularity increased among the audience and the film gained momentum.
Apart from the general audience, the film has also received praise from many famous personalities. These include names like Kangana Ranaut, Virender Sehwag and Madhur Bhandarkar. Now a big good news has come from Uttarakhand for the film team.
CM Dhami watched the film, announced tax free
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami watched the film 'Hanuman Ansh' in a cinema hall in Dehradun on Friday. During this, his wife Geeta Dhami, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Pradeep Batra and many MLAs were also present.
After watching the film, the Chief Minister described it as an important effort to take the spiritual and cultural heritage of Uttarakhand to the country and the world. Along with this, he announced to make 'Hanuman Ansh' tax free in Uttarakhand.
What lesson can we learn from the life of Baba Neem Karoli?
While sharing his reaction about the film on social media, Chief Minister Dhami said that through the film, the audience gets an opportunity to understand the penance, sacrifice, service of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj and his unwavering faith towards Lord Hanuman.
He said that Baba's life was dedicated to human service, spiritual practice and welfare of the society. His message was that devotion is not limited to just worship, but is also the path of service, dedication and human welfare.
Dhami congratulated the entire team of the film for making an inspirational and spiritual film. He also said that Kainchi Dham has now become one of the major centers of faith and reverence across the world.
The pace gradually increased at the box office
'Hanuman Ansh' was released in theaters on 7 August. The film's earnings were slow initially and it did not gain much momentum at the box office in the first two weeks.
However, the film's earnings improved following audience response and word-of-mouth publicity. According to trade website Sacnilk, the film has so far earned a gross of Rs 97.77 crore and a net of Rs 82.88 crore.
Now after making it tax free in Uttarakhand, the business and viewership of the film is expected to increase further.
