Lucknow. The weather in Uttar Pradesh is about to take a turn once again. Rainy season is continuing in many areas and now with the increasing activity of monsoon, the scope of rain may increase further in the next few days. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, moderate to heavy rain may be seen in different parts of the state between September 6 and 8.
Rain alert in 23 districts
Yellow alert has been issued for many districts of the state on Sunday. These include Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Etah, Hathras, Firozabad, Bijnor, Amroha, Sambhal, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Agra, Etawah, Auraiya, Mathura, Aligarh, Kasganj and Badaun. In these areas, there may be some heavy rain along with thunderstorms.
Impact in Terai and Eastern UP also
There is an alert regarding rain in Hardoi, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar and Gonda on Monday. Especially in eastern Uttar Pradesh and Terai belt, the weather is expected to be more active.
There may be a decrease in rain from Tuesday
According to meteorologists, due to the effect of active weather system, rain may continue at many places for the next two days. However, after the weather system weakens from Tuesday, the rain activities are expected to gradually reduce. During this time, people are advised to avoid open spaces and going under trees during thunderstorms.
