PM Modi News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived at the centenary celebrations of the famous Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) of Delhi University, interacted with the students in his familiar style and also made a sharp political attack on the opponents. Praising the glorious journey of 100 years of the college, the PM said that this institution has prepared leaders of many generations who have given direction to the business, public life and society of the country. To commemorate this historic occasion, the Prime Minister also released a special commemorative coin of Rs 100.

Addressing the event, PM Modi said that this day is historic and extremely important not only for SRCC but for the entire education world of India, where many generations associated with the institute have gathered under one roof.

You will meet two types of people outside the campus: The ‘angry uncle’ taunt. PM Modi News

During his address, PM Modi introduced the youth coming out of college with degrees about the reality of the future. He said, “When you step out of the four walls of this campus, you will be faced with a new world. There you will find two types of people. One will be those who, with their positive thinking, become the strength of the society and country. On the other hand, you will find such people who, as soon as they start any new work, become ‘angry uncles’ of married people. Their only favorite thing is to oppose everything. They always have the same rote dialogue on their mouth, ‘Its What is needed?’”

Taking on those who raised questions on development work, the PM gave a series of examples:

  • “When we built the world’s tallest statue (Statue of Unity), uncle said, what is the need for it?”
  • “When work on high-speed trains started, it was still asked, what is the need for it?”
  • “When we started UPI for digital transactions, these same uncles said what is the need of it in India?”
  • “The same question was repeated even when the new Parliament building was built.”
  • “When the National War Memorial was built in honor of the brave soldiers who made supreme sacrifice for the country, the same people were still asking what was the need for it?”

The Prime Minister stressed that the country has given a befitting reply to all these ‘uncles’ through its work and now no power can stop India from moving forward.

Modi stands like a rock in front of ‘Mai-Baap’ culture

Attacking the old political system, PM Modi said that the echo of lies can never stand before the roar of truth. He said, “This is Modi, who is standing like a rock in front of those who are running the old ‘Mai-Baap’ culture in the country. I have courage, that is why I have come before you today with my report card for the things I had said earlier.”

Reminding his old speech of 2013, he said that when he had advocated ‘Made in India’ from the platform of this very institute, the people of the ecosystem of that time could not understand its meaning. He thought that something like this was impossible to happen in India. The PM said that people brought up in the same negative thinking still try to make fun of him, but today the whole world is seeing the threat of India’s ‘Make in India’ and its real brand value.
