The film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, directed by Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi, has set a new record of earnings after completing 30 days in theatres. Made at a cost of just Rs 2 crore, the film has become the biggest success at the Indian box office by crossing the Rs 100 crore mark on Saturday.

Jump to Rs 16.50 crore on 30th day: Luck changed due to word of mouth

The film did a business of only Rs 10 lakh on the first day of its release. For the first two weeks, the earning figures remained limited to lakhs, but due to the strong feedback (word of mouth) received from the audience, a sharp jump in the earnings was recorded from the third week. On the 30th day (Saturday), the film recorded a collection of Rs 16.50 crore nationwide.

According to SACNL data, the film’s 30-day net India collection has reached Rs 99.38 crore and gross India collection has reached Rs 117.40 crore. On Saturday, the average occupancy was recorded at 62% in 6,055 shows across the country.
