East Zone captain and wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan is looking in great form before the Afghanistan series. He made a lot of headlines by scoring a century against South Zone in the final of Duleep Trophy 2026. Earlier, after the strong innings of Abhimanyu Easwaran and Shikhar Mohan, Ishan Kishan's century has further strengthened the score of East Zone.

Ishaan scored his 10th century in first class

In the first innings of the final match, Ishan Kishan completed his century by hitting a four off Shreyas Gopal's ball in 76.1 overs. He scored this century in 122 balls at a strike rate of 84.43, which included 13 fours and 1 six. This is Ishan Kishan's 10th century in first class cricket.

Let us tell you that this is only the second century of Ishan Kishan in Duleep Trophy. Before this, he had scored 111 runs while playing for India C in Anantapur two years ago. All his remaining centuries have come in the Ranji Trophy for Jharkhand. Ishan Kishan's highest score in first class cricket is 273 runs, which he made against Delhi in 2016. He played his last Test for India in 2023.
