Delhi: In the title match of UP T20 League 2026, Meerut Mavericks, captained by Rinku Singh, has once again proved its supremacy. In the final match played at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Sunday, 6 September, Meerut Mavericks won the trophy by defeating Bhuvneshwar Kumar-led Lucknow Falcons by 94 runs.

The biggest hero of this spectacular victory of Meerut was batsman Divyansh Joshi. He played a stormy innings of 105 unbeaten runs in just 40 balls and took his team to a big score. After this, Meerut bowlers also did wonders and reduced the entire Lucknow team to just 109 runs.

Meerut Mavericks had a great start after losing the toss and coming to bat first. Chikara and Divyansh Joshi added 53 runs for the first wicket. Chikara was out after scoring 18 runs in 14 balls. Despite Chikara being out, Divyansh did not let the pace of runs slow down.

Divyansh, taking full notice of the Lucknow bowlers, scored unbeaten 105 runs in just 40 balls. His innings included 12 fours and 7 skyscraper sixes. During this period his strike rate was 262.50.

Divyansh hit shots all around the field and stood firm till the end. Rituraj Sharma supported him by scoring 24 runs and Akshay Dubey scored 15 runs. Although captain Rinku Singh returned to the pavilion early after scoring only 1 run, but on the basis of Divyansh's explosive innings, Meerut scored a huge score of 203 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Abhinandan Singh took 3 wickets for Lucknow Falcons, while captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Vipraj Nigam got 1 wicket each.

Lucknow Falcons, who set out to chase the big target of 204 runs, had a very bad start. Meerut bowlers created pressure from the very first ball and completely destroyed Lucknow's top order in the powerplay.

Himanshu Singh returned to the pavilion cheaply after scoring 5 runs, Aaradhya Yadav 5 runs and Mohammad Saif 10 runs. Ajit Verma scored the maximum 39 runs for Lucknow, but he too got run out and returned to the pavilion.

After this, Meerut bowlers did not give any chance to Lucknow to recover. Fast bowler Vishal Chaudhary bowled brilliantly and took 4 wickets for just 24 runs in 4 overs. At the same time, spinner Zeeshan Ansari also bowled tightly and took 2 wickets for just 12 runs in 4 overs.

Lucknow's batsmen looked completely helpless in front of Meerut's bowlers and the entire team was all out for just 109 runs in 16 overs. In this way, Meerut Mavericks won the trophy of UP T20 League 2026 by winning the final match by 94 runs.
