The Teacher Eligibility Test in Madhya Pradesh will now be held in both online and offline modes. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced this during the state-level Teachers' Day award ceremony held in Bhopal. The government states that this decision will provide candidates with an additional option for taking the exam and will also help in addressing issues faced by teachers. Following the Chief Minister's announcement, the Madhya Pradesh School Education Department shared a video on social media in which CM Mohan Yadav spoke about conducting the TET through both mediums.

Decision Taken in Accordance with Supreme Court Directives

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated that the government is continuously working to improve the quality of education in the state. In this context, the decision has been made to conduct the TET exam in both online and offline modes. He remarked that the government respects the hard work of teachers and is taking necessary steps to improve their working conditions. The Chief Minister also mentioned that the TET is being organized in line with Supreme Court directives; however, no specific schedule regarding the dates or the exact manner of conducting the exam in both modes has been announced yet.

Emphasis on Improving School Education Quality

During the Teachers' Day ceremony, the Chief Minister also spoke about the education system in Madhya Pradesh. He stated that efforts are being made to enhance the quality of education based on recommendations from the School Education Department. He also spoke about further improving government schools. The Chief Minister emphasized that the role of teachers is not limited merely to exam results. According to him, teachers play a pivotal role in shaping students' futures, and a teacher's greatest satisfaction comes when their students surpass them in life.

Honouring 33 Outstanding Teachers

At a state-level ceremony held on the occasion of Teachers' Day, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Governor Mangubhai Patel honoured 33 outstanding teachers from various parts of Madhya Pradesh. Highlighting the contribution of government school teachers, the Chief Minister stated that more than 50 percent of the students appearing in the board examination merit lists come from government schools. Additionally, Governor Mangubhai Patel remarked that in today's times, education cannot be confined merely to textbooks; it needs to evolve in alignment with global changes and employment requirements.
