An Indian engineer detained in Moscow. It is known that he is a resident of Uttar Pradesh. His wife claimed that there was an attempt to forcefully enroll the young man in the Russian army. However, it is not yet clear why he was detained. The family has already approached the Central and Uttar Pradesh governments to bring the youth back home.

It is known that the name of the young man is Chandan Gupta. He had been living in Moscow for quite some time with his wife Sneha Gupta and 10-year-old son. Police arrested Chandan on Sunday afternoon. After that, Sneha gave a video message on social media. There he claimed that Chandan was working as an engineer in a company in Noida. He was sent to Russia from the organization. After that he came to Moscow with his family with a valid 'work visa'. Sneha further claimed that her husband had committed no wrongdoing. Despite this, he was arrested and imprisoned. Not only this, Snehar also alleged that Chandan was being pressured to join the Russian army. It does not end here. His wife also claimed that Chandan was harassed. But it is not clear why he was detained.

Chandan's family has approached the Center and Uttar Pradesh government to bring him back to the country. Sneha broke down in tears in the video message. He said, “I am stuck here with my child. I don't understand Russian. It is not known what is happening to Chandan, why he has been detained.”
