First appearances, first emotions, and already a few memorable highlights. Several new signings wasted no time in stamping their authority at their new clubs. Here is a look at those early successes.

Introduced shortly after the hour mark at Ipswich, Bradley Barcola was timed at 35.9 km/h, which already makes him the fastest player in the Premier League this season.

Clearly, sky blue suits him perfectly. The Argentine has started in highly convincing fashion in the Sky Blues midfield, and his combination with Elliott Anderson already appears full of promise.

First match, first goal — and it proved to be the winner as well. It was a sensational debut for Ayase Ueda with Les Dogues, with the Japanese recruit scoring in the 73rd minute against Toulouse.

Having joined Everton from Lyon on deadline day, Ainsley Maitland-Niles struck in the 96th minute to earn the Toffees a 2-2 draw against Manchester United.

On his first outing for Como, Moise Kean registered an assist and played his part in his new side’s 4-1 victory over Genoa.

The Senegalese dribbling specialist already showed a glimpse of his technical quality against Coventry: 93% pass completion, some excellent attacking intent, and an enormous work rate. It is a very encouraging sign for the rest of his journey at City.

The Belgian signing, who arrived from Saint-Etienne, scored Sevilla’s equaliser away to Espanyol Barcelona in a 1-1 draw.
