Recipe to make milk powder from milk
First step- To make milk powder, you have to take 1 liter full cream milk. Put the milk in a heavy bottom pan and heat it. Now cook the milk till it boils. After the milk boils, cook on medium flame until it thickens. One should not allow too much cream to form in the milk nor should the cream coming on the side be mixed with too much milk. When the milk becomes slightly thick like rubber, turn off the gas flame. Now leave the milk to cool. Now spread the prepared milk in a thin layer in 2-3 big plates. Now keep the milk exposed to the fan for 6-7 hours. This will dry up the milk. Now turn the milk once with a ladle.
Second step- Dry the prepared milk in the sun for 1 day. This will dry the milk thoroughly which you can grind easily. After drying in the sun, the milk will turn into bread-like pieces. If the sun is strong then it dries within a day. The milk should dry well. Now, to add some sweetness to the milk powder, while making 1 liter milk powder, you will have to grind 100% sugar and mix it.
Third step- Grind sugar into powder and filter it through a fine sieve. Now add dried milk in the jar and grind it finely by putting it in the mixer while stopping it occasionally. Avoid running the mixer continuously as this may cause ghee to enter the powder. Therefore, mix it in between and grind it into a fine powder. Now filter the milk powder once again with sugar. Make it and store it in an airtight container.
Fourth step- If you want, make mawa and dry it. Grind dried mawa and make milk powder. Milk powder prepared in this way lasts for a long time. You can keep it in the fridge and use it for 3 months. You can use it in any sweet.
