Patna. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has made the government's stand clear regarding liquor ban in Bihar. He has indicated that the liquor ban implemented in the state will continue in future also. According to the Chief Minister, this decision is not just to revenue, but has been taken keeping in mind the interest of the women and families of Bihar.

The Chief Minister said that due to liquor ban, the government loses potential revenue of about Rs 20 thousand crore every year, but despite this the government is not in favor of ending this policy. He says that a large number of women in the state support prohibition, so it is the priority of the government to continue it.

Big change will be seen in Bihar by 2030

Samrat Chaudhary also talked about the government's plans for the development of Bihar. He said that before 2030, changes will be visible in the fields of employment, education and better infrastructure facilities in the state. The aim of the government is to create such an environment so that the youth of Bihar do not have to turn to other states for employment.

Government's eye on poisonous liquor

Despite prohibition, incidents of poisonous liquor remain a challenge for the government. The Chief Minister called it a matter of serious concern. The government now has a big responsibility to keep the prohibition effective and also to stop the illegal liquor trade.
