State Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Foreign Trade and Agricultural Export, Dinesh Pratap Singh made a sharp political attack on Congress leader and Rae Bareli MP Rahul Gandhi in a press conference on Thursday. He alleged that in the Disha meeting in Rae Bareli, Rahul Gandhi's emphasis was more on doing politics by finding flaws in schemes like 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' instead of reviewing the public welfare schemes and giving them momentum. The minister said that he was disappointed by Rahul Gandhi's attitude in the meeting.

Accused of raising questions on 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao'

The Minister of State said that during the discussion of 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' program in the Disha meeting, Rahul Gandhi asked the concerned officer what happens in this scheme. If the Chairman of the Disha Committee is not aware of the plan then how will it be monitored and coordinated. After this, Rahul Gandhi laid more emphasis on knowing the expenditure incurred on the promotion of the scheme. It seemed that instead of extending the benefits of the scheme to as many people as possible, the priority was to find flaws in it. He said that 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' is not just a government program but a campaign to respecting daughters and mother power. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is running various schemes to make women self-reliant and self-reliant.

He alleged that even in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi seems to be dependent on the support of other parties.

The Minister of State said that public safety and respect is the top priority in the government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The state government is working with a clear policy regarding law and order. He claimed that the law and order of Uttar Pradesh has been appreciated by the representatives of various countries along with the country.
