3UP Elections 2027: Assembly elections are going to be held in Uttar Pradesh in 2027. Political preparations for the elections have intensified. The ruling BJP is busy strengthening its electoral base through the work of its organization and government. At the same time, Samajwadi Party is also ready to implement its strategy at the grassroots level in a new way. According to the recent information, this time SP President Akhilesh Yadav has prepared to conduct such an experiment regarding the election manifesto, whose direct focus will be on local issues and needs of the district.

75 districts and 75 manifestos

Akhilesh Yadav’s plan is that this time Samajwadi Party will not release just one manifesto for the entire Uttar Pradesh, but instead a separate manifesto can be prepared for each district. In this way, there are 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh and 75 different manifestos can be issued. The logic behind this strategy is that the problems of every part of UP are not the same. Noida and Banda have their own different needs. There is a big difference in the needs of both.

What are the issues?

At some places it is an issue of employment, at some places industry is a big issue. At some places there is a problem of roads, while at some places irrigation, health and education are big issues. In such a situation, Samajwadi Party is trying to link local needs with election promises. The district organization has been asked to identify five major problems of their area. Apart from this, collect information about incomplete or stalled projects, employment possibilities and major demands of the local people. In these, issues like education-health, employment-industry, farmers-artisans, infrastructure and tourism have been asked to be kept in mind.

Special focus on youth also

In its strategy, SP has kept special focus on youth and especially Gen-G voters. For this, preparations are being made to collect data to the problems and expectations of the youth at the district level. Issues to paper leak and government recruitment examinations can be discussed with him. Along with this, schemes for gig workers, BPO employees and contract workers can also be included in the local manifesto.

Will local issues be linked to employment?

SP leaders say that the party’s plan is not just to count the problems but to solve them. There is a preparation to link local issues with employment and development. For example, suppose if a bridge is to be built in a state, then a proposal should be made to link it with employment and industrial activities. Also, maximum work there should be given to the local people. Similarly, efforts can be made to expand traditional industries. Separate schemes can be brought to promote traditional industries like perfume of Kannauj, locks of Aligarh, brass of Moradabad and glass of Firozabad.
