The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and superstar Thalapathy Vijay recently attended the Silverstone Racing Circuit in the UK to support Ajith Kumar during the Michelin Le Mans Cup. At the same event, Vijay also waved the green flag to officially start the race. However, what has now caught the attention of fans was a special gift exchange which took place between the two actors after the completion of the race. It has been seen in the images shared online that Vijay gifted Ajith a miniature race car and personally signed it with a heartfelt message for his “lovely brother”.

The images showing the gift exchange between the two actors and long-time friends, CM Thalapathy Vijay and Ajith Kumar, have been shared on Instagram by Done Channel on their page. What happened was that after the Le Mans Cup event at Silverstone, Tamil Nadu CM Vijay presented Ajith with a miniature race car. This particular miniature race car is a scale model of a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car, which is Porsche’s track-specific race car.

It can be seen that the race car was enclosed in a glass box which was signed by Vijay with the message, “Priyamudan (With Love) Vijay to my lovely brother Ajith.” In the images, Ajith can be seen shaking hands with Vijay and thanking him for the gesture. Ajith also returned the gesture by gifting Vijay a helmet.

The actor-turned-racer signed the helmet with a simple message that read, “Love Ajith (sic).” The exchange made for a special moment between the two stars, who are often compared against each other by their respective fan groups. As mentioned above, the gift exchange took place shortly after another warm interaction between the two actors at Silverstone.

On September 12, Vijay was seen running towards Ajith and then hugging him at the racing circuit. Ajith welcomed Vijay at the venue before the race, with videos of their meeting quickly making their way onto social media.

Vijay had travelled to the Silverstone Racing Circuit to support Ajith, who was competing in the fifth round of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup championship. He later stood trackside and waved the green flag as the race got underway.

Apart from Vijay and Ajith, actress Trisha Krishnan was also spotted at the Silverstone Racing Circuit. She was reportedly in London for a film shoot and was seen spending time with Vijay at the venue. She was later seen leaving in the same car as him. Her appearance also attracted attention amid ongoing reports and speculation surrounding her alleged link-up with Vijay.

Ajith competed in the LMP3 Pro/Am category for Ajith RedAnt by Virage, alongside French driver Romain Vozniak. The No. 16 car had a strong starting position after the pair qualified eighth in the LMP3 Pro/Am category earlier on Saturday. However, the main race was a bit difficult for Ajith’s team. Ajith and Vozniak eventually finished 38th overall, completing the two-hour race three laps behind the overall winner.

The team could not maintain its qualifying position and finished outside the points. As a result, Ajith RedAnt by Virage did not add any points at Silverstone and remained on 21 points in the championship standings.
