Didn’t even stop after the accident, took a U-turn and ran away! Siya’s father asked for strictest punishment for attempt to murder accused
The father of Siya, the victim of the Golf Course Road accident in Gurugram, has demanded strict action against the accused. He has demanded the police to impose the most stringent sections on the accused. Siya’s father said that the police should take action against the accused under strict sections like attempt to murder and hit and run, so that such people learn a lesson and do not dare to do such acts on the road again.
He told that his daughter is not feeling well at the moment and is taking rest. Siya’s father said that the mentality of the accused is clearly visible in the video that surfaced after the accident. According to him, these people were not behaving like common people but like criminals.
He said that if a normal person is involved in an accident then out of humanity he stops and helps the injured. But according to him, this did not happen here. It is alleged that the accused did not stop after the collision, but took a U-turn and quickly ran away from there.
Siya’s father told that he has spoken to the police. The police will send its investigation team officer (IO) to record Sia’s statement. If there is a need to record a statement in the court under Section 164 of the Indian Act, then the family is ready for this also.
