Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi has targeted BJP over the old Chief Minister's residence located at 6 Flagstaff Road. Atishi said that on September 14, the BJP Assembly Committee is going to inspect this residence. Atishi claimed that after the inspection by the BJP Assembly Committee, the truth of the alleged allegations made in this matter will be revealed. He said that inspection will make it clear how much truth is there in the claims made by BJP regarding the old Chief Minister's residence.

Atishi said that when the Aam Aadmi Party was in power in Delhi, 6 Flagstaff Road used to be the official residence of the Chief Minister. According to him, BJP continuously made many allegations regarding this residence and allegedly propagated false things. Atishi said that the Aam Aadmi Party had challenged the BJP to reach the spot with media and cameras and inspect the condition of the housing. He claimed that now the inspection of the Assembly Committee on September 14 will reveal the reality of the allegations and claims made regarding housing.

Accused of stopping Saurabh Bhardwaj and Sanjay Singh

Atishi claimed that Saurabh Bhardwaj and Sanjay Singh had reached 6 Flagstaff Road with the media, but were not allowed inside the residence. He alleged that the police stopped him from going inside. Atishi raised the question why the media was stopped from entering the residence? According to him, if the media had been allowed to go inside and see the situation, the reality of the alleged claims made by BJP would have come to light immediately.

Challenge to show swimming pool and gold and silver commode

Sharing a video on social media, Atishi challenged the BJP to inspect his residence at 6 Flagstaff Road. He said that during the inspection, BJP should tell where the alleged swimming pool, gold-silver commode and liquor bar are in the residence. Atishi said that now after the inspection of the Assembly Committee, the truth of the claims made by BJP will itself be revealed. During this, Atishi also raised questions regarding the Prime Minister's residence. He asked that just as questions are being raised regarding 6 Flagstaff Road, will similarly information regarding the Prime Minister's residence and the facilities available there also be made public?

Challenge of showing the Prime Minister's residence in front of the media

Atishi hit back at BJP and said that if you have courage then the Prime Minister's residence should also be shown in front of the media. He claimed that the country wants to see the Prime Minister's residence. Besides, he also raised questions regarding the construction of the Prime Minister's residence and its cost. According to Atishi, after the inspection of the proposed assembly committee on September 14, the picture of the claims being made by BJP and Aam Aadmi Party regarding 6 Flagstaff Road may become more clear.
