- To send a message to 1947, you have to use the cellphone number linked to your Aadhar card.

- Write GETOTP and last four digits of your Aadhaar number on the registered cellphone number, then send it to 1947.

- If your Aadhaar number is 123456789012 then to send the message you have to write GETOTP 9012.

- After receiving the OTP, send the message by writing the last four digits of Aadhaar and LOCKUID OTP.

- If your Aadhaar number is 123456789012 and your OTP number is 123456 then you have to send LOCKUID 9012 123456.

- After this your Aadhar card will be locked.
