Murder victim discovered in Panchkula Park

Late on Wednesday night, the corpse of a 21-year-old lady was discovered in a park in Sector 20 here.
The city resident who had been slain was discovered with marks on her neck and other body parts.
According to sources, the lady called her brother and threatened to have him killed. She was dead when her relatives arrived at the park in a hurry.
The incident was reported to the police. The corpse was moved to Sector 6’s Civil Hospital.
The victim was raped before being killed, and the police promised to find out.
At the time this report was filed, the police had not yet opened a case. The murder scene was visited by DCP Himadri Kaushik and a squad from the Sector 20 police station.
