Things you can't change:
The 16-digit Aadhaar number on your card cannot be changed. Once your Aadhaar number is issued, it remains this number for life. You can download a new Aadhaar card, but cannot get a new card with a different number. For information, let us tell you that Aadhaar includes biometrics like fingerprint and retina scan and these cannot be faked.

These things can be corrected only once.
Now we are going to tell you about those things which can be corrected only once. You only get one chance to correct your mistakes. Correction in date of birth and gender on the Aadhaar card can be made only once. Additionally, you can change your name twice. You can also make these corrections online, for which a fee of Rs 50 will have to be paid. Apart from online, you can also visit the Aadhaar centre to make corrections to your card.
