There was a stir in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh when the dead body of a girl was found on the railway track late at night. The deceased was a first year MBBS student at Muzaffarnagar Medical College and was living in a hostel. She had gone out for a walk with a friend on Thursday evening. But when she did not return till the hostel closing time, she was called. But the student's phone number could not be reached. Due to which the hostel people started searching for him.

The girl student was searched first in the hostel campus and then in the surrounding areas. Police were also informed. When the dead body of the student was found lying near the railway track behind the hostel, everyone was shocked. Student Krutika Chauhan was a resident of Ajitmal in Auraiya. Father is a lecturer in Inter College and mother is Head Master in Government Primary School. Kritika had taken admission in the Medical College of Begrajpur only 6 months ago. She lived in the girls hostel on the campus itself.

Kritika had gone out for a walk with a friend

SP City said that the matter is being investigated. CCTV of the hostel is being checked. Information has been received that Kritika had gone out for a walk with her classmate Kunal Saini. After this she did not reach the hostel. Whether it is murder or suicide, it is still difficult to say anything on this. The body has been sent for post-mortem. The postmortem report is awaited. According to sources, Kunal is being interrogated. During initial interrogation, Kunal called it an accident. But when the police took strict action, he retracted his own statement. The police have not yet given any information regarding the investigation.

Family members accused of murder

On the other hand, the family has reached Muzaffarnagar after receiving information about Kritika's death. The family alleged that Kritika was murdered and the body was thrown. He has accused Kunal of murder. Family members told that Kritika used to talk to them every evening. There was a conversation on Thursday evening also. However, he did not say any such thing. Kritika was the topper of the district in class 10th

The family members are in bad condition and crying since Kritika's death. Father told that Kritika was a very promising student. She wanted to become a doctor. She was also working hard for this. Not only this, Kritika had topped the district in 2019 by securing 98% marks in class 10th from St. Francis School, Auraiya.
