Police has revealed a sensational incident in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. Rupjhar police station of the district has revealed the murder case of Khel Singh and arrested the accused. The stolen amount of Rs 8.5 lakh has also been recovered from the accused. Disclosing this entire matter, the police said that Chunnulal Uike, a resident of Sarra village, had lodged a report in the police station on April 24.

According to the complaint lodged with the police, Chunnulal's daughter's wedding was on 21st April. 60-year-old Khel Singh Pandre had gone from his house to collect dowry money, but did not return and Rs 8 lakh 50 thousand of dowry kept in the cupboard of his house was also missing. After the departure of the daughter, the family members searched extensively for Khel Singh and could not find anything. After this, a missing report of Khel Singh was lodged.

The police team was continuously searching for Khel Singh. Where on the evening of 24th April, the dead body of Khel Singh Uike was found under suspicious circumstances in a canal pit. Where some unknown person, with the intention of looting the money, had killed Khel Singh by attacking him with a sharp weapon on his head, neck and chest.

Police found 3 day old dead body

After recovering the body, the police registered a case against unknown accused under sections 302 and 201. According to family members and police, the dead body was 3 days old. Where the doctor's team did the post-mortem of the dead body. In the PM report, the body of the deceased was attacked with a sharp weapon.

Nephew's mind was filled with greed for lakhs

SDOP Arvind Shah said that after several days of investigation, the deceased's nephew Ram Singh was taken into custody. During interrogation the accused confessed to the crime. The deceased had kept the dowry money in the safe. After seeing this, the 21 year old nephew became greedy. While chasing his maternal uncle, he attacked him with an ax at a lonely and deserted place and killed him. The killer nephew ran away with Rs 8 lakh 50 thousand kept with his maternal uncle.

Villagers and family members told that the deceased was a daughter of Khel Singh Pandre. He is married. He had no son of his own. Due to this, he had brought his nephew Ramsingh Uike to his house. Accused Ram Singh lived at the house of his maternal uncle Khel Singh.
