Two years ago, in 2022, Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala, was shot in Punjab's Mansa and the news of his untimely death left everyone in a void. Recently, Goldy Brar, a prominent figure in the Punjabi underworld and a key suspect in the murder case involving singer Sidhu has reportedly met a violent end in the United States.

Since Wednesday (May 1) morning, people on social media have been talking a lot about the death of Goldy Brar. If reports are to be believed, the incident was taken place on Tuesday, April 30, at around 5:25 pm local time. However, we're still waiting for an official confirmation of Goldy's demise. The report further added that he was shot and killed by members of a rival gang, the Dalla Lakhbir gang, who reportedly fired upon Brar and his associate while they were outside his residence, situated in Fairmont, Holt Avenue, US. Both individuals were rushed to the hospital, where tragically, one of them succumbed to their injuries.

Because of his involvement in the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, Goldy Brar was called a terrorist by the Union Home Ministry. He was connected to the Babbar Khalsa terrorist group, and his illegal actions worried the police for a long time.

The grim turn of events for Goldy Brar's family extends beyond his demise. Last year, his cousin Gurlal Brar fell victim to a fatal assault outside a nightclub in Chandigarh. The people thought the person behind this attack was reportedly part of Bishnoi's gang, seeking revenge for the death of Youth Congress leader Gurlal Pahalwan.

As violence increased and the law paid more attention, Goldy Brar went to Canada in 2021 to be safe. He first went there in 2017 with a student visa.

For those who don't know, Sidhu Moosewala's tragic incident took place a day after his security was withdrawn by the Punjab police among 424 others. Notably, the singer had joined the Congress party in December 2021, ahead of the Assembly elections.
