WhatsApp is preparing to bring a very useful feature for its users. Through this feature, you will be able to clear the count of all unread WhatsApp messages at once. The company will add the option of ‘Clear unread when app opens’ in the app, due to which the unread message count will be cleared as soon as the app opens. It can be turned on and off through a toggle.
A big website has given information about this new feature and along with it they have also shared a screenshot of this feature. In this screenshot you can see this upcoming feature, which will make message management even easier for users.
The new feature has been seen in version 2.24.11.13 of WhatsApp Beta for Android. At present, this feature is inactive, but once activated, it will be visible in the notification settings.
According to the report, this feature can be accessed by beta users who register through the Google Play Beta program. The purpose of this feature is to automatically refresh notifications of unread messages after opening WhatsApp. This feature will help users identify new messages, so that they can get an accurate count of all their unread messages.
