Gurugram News Desk. Sector 40 police station has arrested the accused husband Satish Kumar in the case of the death of Reena, who lived in Indira Awas Colony. The accused strangled his wife to death suspecting her character. After the murder, to escape from the police, the body was tied with a dupatta and hung from the fan. After this, the accused called the police and said that he had strangled his wife. Sector-40 police station received information on June 10 that a woman named Reena committed suicide by hanging herself in Indira Awas Colony.
The police team reached Indira Awas Colony, where the deceased's husband Satish Kumar and his two children were found. The police team informed the family of the deceased. Police, FSL, and a fingerprinting team were called to inspect the scene. In the initial investigation, the police found the case suspicious and the family of the deceased was contacted.
On June 11, the woman's brother Sudama, resident of Bahadurnagar Banpurwa, District Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) complained to the police and told that sister Reenai (30) was married to Satish, resident of Patti Paibora, District Kannauj (Uttar Pradesh). It happened about 12 years ago. Sister lived with her husband Satish and two children in Indira Awas Colony, Silokhara, Gurugram. Ever since marriage, the husband used to quarrel and beat her. On June 10, when I got the news of my sister's death, I came to Indira Awas Colony, Gurugram and took information. It was revealed that on the night of June 9, at around 1 o'clock, Satish attacked Reena and strangled her to death.
In this regard, the police have registered a case under various sections including murder. When the team of Sector 40 police station in-charge Manoj interrogated the accused Satish, he confessed to killing the woman. On this, the police arrested the accused Satish Kumar from Silokhara in Gurugram on June 11. During police interrogation with the accused, it was revealed that he had doubts about his wife's character. The accused used to work as a labourer. The police will present the accused in court on Thursday.
