Who was Shakti Dada?

Neeraj Bawana is a very big gangster of Delhi-NCR. He has got the title of number one in the world of crime in Delhi-NCR. Shakti Dada was born in a Jat farmer family in Chhochi village of Jhajjar in 1995. His maternal uncle Rambir Shaukeen has been a former MLA from Delhi. Shakti was Neeraj Bawana's maternal aunt's son. He was fond of playing and studying.

At the age of 15, Shakti's name started being associated with the world of crime. Shakti Dada stayed in Kolkata for the first time while absconding with Neeraj Bawana. After this, Shakti's name started appearing in some small crimes and then he started getting involved in big crimes. Eventually, Aman Dhananjay and Shakti Dada used to handle Neeraj Bawana's entire gang from outside.

When Shakti was accused of demanding a ransom of Rs 1 crore, the Delhi Police started looking for him. On 14 February 2020, when Neeraj Bawana was being brought for hearing, Shakti Dada went to meet him and was arrested there. However, he was released a few days later and came home. He used to go to the nearby stadium every evening to play volleyball.

On 7 October 2020, he was going to play volleyball as usual. Then two miscreants on two bikes surrounded Shakti Dada at around 7:00 pm and started firing indiscriminately. The miscreants fired more than a dozen bullets at Shakti, in which Shakti Dada was injured. After this, he was taken to a hospital in Rohtak, where the doctor declared him dead. When his post-mortem was done, five bullets were found in his body.

After this, the police started looking for the accused. After the police investigation, it was found that Shakti was murdered by Ashok Pradhan gang, the rival gang of gangster Neeraj Bawana. After several months, Gaurav alias Monty, a member of Ashok Pradhan gang, was arrested. Gaurav alias Monty was the main accused in Shakti's murder and the other three were with him.

There was a long standing feud between Neeraj Bawana and Ashok Pradhan gang. To teach Neeraj a lesson, Pradhan gang prepared Monty. Monty is a notorious criminal of Bawana police station and more than a dozen cases are registered against him. More than 12 cases are registered against Monty in cases like murder, attempt to murder, extortion and ransom.

When Monty joined the Pradhan gang, he was made to commit many crimes. When Ashok Pradhan was convinced that Monty could commit big crimes, he was made the deputy commander of the gang. After this, he was given the responsibility to extort Rs 50 lakh from a utensils trader in Delhi.

Monty threw the letter into the merchant's shop

Monty wrote a letter and threw it in the utensil merchant's shop and said that we want ₹50 lakhs and if you don't give it, you will lose your life. When the merchant doesn't pay, a shootout takes place and one person dies in it. When Monty gets the order from Ashok Pradhan to kill Shakti Dada, brother of Neeraj Bawana, he goes to Shakti Dada's village with his friend Abhishek and kills him by firing more than a dozen bullets. At present, Monty is in jail. Action has been taken against him under MCOCA.

The reason for enmity between Ashok and Neeraj

Ashok Pradhan is a resident of Niloti village of Jhajjar in Haryana. He entered the world of crime in 2001 and the reason for that was bad company. He became friends with Delhi gangster Neetu Dabodia. He was first impressed by Neetu and then started following her footsteps.

In 2001, Ashok Pradhan killed the village head and the doctor in Bahadurgarh. After this, he started contract killing and kidnapping. In 2004, Dabodia gang's opponent Rajiv Kala alias Kala Asodiya killed Ashok Pradhan's brother. This is where the conflict between Neeraj Bawana and Ashok Pradhan started, because Kala Asodiya was Neeraj Bawana's maternal uncle.

After the gang leader Neetu Dabodia was killed in a police encounter in 2013, Ashok Pradhan is running the Neetu gang. There has been a gang war going on between Neetu gang and Neeraj Bawana gang for years, in which many lives have been lost from both sides so far. In March 2017, Ashok Pradhan along with his associates Rohit and Gaurav shot dead Neeraj Bawana's maternal uncle gangster Kala Asodia in Jhajjar court.
