The world's most popular messaging app WhatsApp takes great care of its users, perhaps this is the reason why it keeps adding new features to its app to make their experience better, recently the company has updated a new feature, which is an in-app dialer feature for Android beta users. Currently, this feature is being trialed in 2.24.13.17 beta build. The in-app dialer is currently being rolled out for beta testers and will be available to all users in the coming weeks. Let's know about this feature-
No need to save the number
One of the main advantages of the new in-app dialer is that it can improve the calling experience on WhatsApp by eliminating the need to save the contact before making a call. Beta users will find a floating button inside the "Calls" tab and updating the app to the latest version will allow them to use this new feature.
How the feature works
The dialer icon seen above the green new call button in the shared screenshot allows users to open the dialer and make a call directly. Users can enter a mobile number and call the contact without having to save it first.
Easy messaging
The dialer also includes a message icon, allowing users to easily send messages to the entered phone number. If the contact is on WhatsApp, this feature facilitates quick calls and messages. Moreover, the dialer informs users if the entered mobile number is registered on WhatsApp or not.
Stay tuned as WhatsApp continues to roll out these exciting features to improve your communication experience on the platform.
