A few days ago, there was news that Meta is working on a new feature for its instant messaging app WhatsApp, after which WhatsApp messages will be translated in real-time. Earlier it was said that WhatsApp would use Google's live translation technology for this, but now it has become clear that Meta will not use any technology of Google for WhatsApp.
A new report says that Meta will use its technology for WhatsApp's live translation. This feature of WhatsApp is currently being tested on the beta version. There is no information in this regard as to when its final version will be released.
WABetaInfo, which tracks WhatsApp's features, has given information about its upcoming feature. Now this site has said that no third-party tech company will be taking help for real-time translation. In such a situation, the big advantage will be that the translated messages will also be end-to-end encrypted.
The tracker has also shared a screenshot which is a screenshot of Android's beta version 2.24.15.12. The name of this feature is said to be “Translate your message”, although the actual name will be known only after launching. WhatsApp has highlighted that “Your texts are end-to-end encrypted. No one, including WhatsApp, can read them.” That is, your messages are end-to-end encrypted. No one, not even WhatsApp, can read your messages.
