A new feature for WhatsApp’s chat message bubbles is being released. It is anticipated that Android users will soon get access to this functionality, which has been seen in the most recent beta version. This functionality was also just added to the iOS beta version, according to a report from WABetaInfo. Users will be able to choose from a variety of colors with a new option in the chat theme settings, as per the shared image from WABetaInfo.

As a consequence, the app’s default theme and the color of the message bubbles will change. But there’s no app color shown in the screenshot.

It’s important to note that this new WhatsApp feature is still in the development stage and is presently being tested. It will thus be progressively made available for testing by further beta users.

This functionality is designed to work similarly to other Meta-owned social media networks like Facebook Messenger and Instagram, with preset styles and message boxes.
