"In 2014, when I auditioned for 'Bull Bull,' I shared my modeling profile with Darshan and got his mobile number from a known manager. When I contacted Darshan about the audition, it had already been completed. He said he would let me know if there were any opportunities for other films. Using this as a pretext, we began talking on the phone, chatting on WhatsApp, and calling each other every day," she said.
Regarding Renukaswamy's murder, Pavithra stated, "A person from the Instagram account 'KS Gautham 1990' was sending me many obscene messages, photos, and videos. I did not complain about this. Later, I discussed with Pavan about finding the person sending these messages. For that, Pavan asked Darshan's fans to locate him in Chitradurga."

On June 8, 2024, Darshan allegedly instructed a group of men to track down Renukaswamy and bring him to a shed in Pattanagere. In a call to Pavithra, Darshan reportedly said, "Let’s teach him a lesson," inviting her to join the confrontation. When Pavithra arrived, she found Renukaswamy being brutally assaulted by Darshan and his associates, including Pavan, Nagaraj, and Nandeesh.
