New Delhi: Sandhya Singh, sister of the renowned music composer duo Jatin-Lalit and former actresses Sulakshana and Vijayta Pandit, reportedly went missing in 2012. Despite her family’s efforts, she was not found alive and her skeleton was discovered much later.
In a recent interview with Lehren Retro, Vijayta Pandit opened up about the harrowing incident and how her family has been coping with the tragedy. “I never thought something like this would happen so suddenly. She was quite happy in her marriage and lived here in Mumbai. I don’t know what happened,” she said.
Vijayta further explained, “We never found her. Only her skeleton was discovered. At first, her family said she had gone missing. My brothers, Jatin and Lalit, and I searched for her.” After some time, they got to know the tragic truth.
She also revealed that Sulakshana still believes Sandhya is alive. “You won’t believe it, but Sulakshana still doesn’t know that Sandhya is no longer with us. I haven’t told her because if she finds out, she won’t be able to cope. I tell her that Sandhya is fine and living in Indore. We are still pretending,” Vijayta shared.
