
Geneva (Switzerland), September 24 (ANI): The Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) Europe held a significant protest in Geneva, Switzerland on September 23. The protestors raised slogans against Pakistan, and its Army to highlight the atrocities made in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Later, the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement held a conference titled “Pashtun Nation: Challenges, Opportunities, and the Pashtun Grand Jirga in Pakistan”. The conference coincided with the 57th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland. Prominent attendees included PTM leaders, activists, diplomats, international observers, human rights defenders and leaders of oppressed groups. At the conference, discussions focused on human rights abuses extrajudicial killings, arbitrary detentions and torture in Pakistan. Strategies to address these challenges and secure a better future for Pashtun ethnic minorities were explored.
