“Killer of Hindus…” slogans against Md Yunus in New York over attacks on minorities in Bangladesh

New York (USA) September 24 (ANI): As the 79th session of UNGA continues, Bangladesh Chief Advisor Md Yunus arrived in New York to attend the session. However, he was given a special welcome as Bangladeshi nationals protested against him outside the hotel. They demonstrated against the atrocities on the Bangladeshi minorities raising ‘Go Back, Step Down’ slogans. Notably, atrocities on Bangladeshi minorities including Hindus came to light after ex-PM Sheikh Hasina’s ouster. Protestors raised slogans against Yunus saying he is a ‘Hindu Killer’ and ‘Father of terrorists’ Sloganeers also chanted, "Go back, Step down, Step down, Step down" and held up posters that said "Shiekh Hasina Our Prime Minister."
