UPI platform is reportedly down with users reporting issues while sending or receiving money using various bank options including the State Bank of India (SBI).

Many users took to social media platform ‘X’ (former Twitter) to report the UPI outage, stating that they are facing issues while sending money via using different banks, including SBI. “UPI payments failing, several bank servers are down. What about yours?,” wrote a user.

“State Bank of India is facing high payment failures on all UPI apps,” another complained.

Notably, most users who faced issues reported using SBI’s UPI. “TheOfficialSBI Fix it ASAP, lunch time khatam hogaya ab dinner time bolega kya?,” a user wrote on X while taking a jibe at the state-owned bank.

Following several complaints SBI responded on X. “Please inform us about the service/app which you are using like Debit Card/ UPI/ Yono/ Yono Lite/ Internet banking along with the error screenshot. We will be happy to assist you,” SBI said in a response to a user’s post about UPI outage on X.
