Along with that, his age must be more than 18 years. At the same time, those who do not have LPG gas connection at home can apply for this scheme.

Apart from the mentioned eligibility criteria, several documents are also required to apply for Ujjwala Yojana. Applicant's identity proof, address proof, Aadhaar number of all family members, bank passbook or Jan Dhan bank account details, BPL ration card, cast certificate (if applicable), passport size photograph and BPL certificate issued by Municipal Chairman or Panchayat Pradhan.

To apply for this central government scheme, the application form is available both online and offline. In case of online, one has to go to the official website of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and download the application form. After that it should be filled and submitted to the office of LPG Gas distributor.

On the other hand, if you want to apply for this scheme (Government Scheme) offline, you have to take the application form directly from the LPG distributor's office. Then it should be filled and deposited there. After submitting the application form, the applicant's documents and eligibility will be verified. After that if the application is accepted, the instructions regarding LPG connection will be issued. Beneficiaries of this Central Government scheme also get special subsidy. At present, LPG connection has been reached through Ujjwala Yojana to countless homes in this country.
