Recently the company also introduced the feature of location mention, which has been present on Instagram for a long time. At the same time, now in this series the company is going to make another new beginning with Add Yours, which is going to double the fun of posting status. Let us know about it…
The feature is currently in beta version
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is introducing a new feature for its status updates, similar to Instagram. This feature is currently available in the beta version of the app. Actually, Add Yours feature allows users to create a collection of stories on a theme and give feedback in it.
How does this feature work?
First, use Add Yours stickers to create a collection of stories on a theme.
By interacting with this sticker, you can post your own story to the prompt.
This sticker also appears on your Story posts.
Your friends can also see the same Add Yours sticker and give feedback on it.
You can interact with pre-existing “Add Yours” stickers or create a collection of stories by creating your own Add Yours sticker.
In simple words, like Instagram, if someone uploads a photo of the sky, they can ask others to share other photos with the same theme.
How does this even have end-to-end encryption?
WABetaInfo also said that if a user sees a sticker like “Add Yours” and enters it by sharing their story, the user's audience who shared the update won't be able to see who started the sticker trend or what others have added to it. Added, which will maintain the app's end-to-end encryption and privacy policy.
