Law enforcement in California, United States, apprehended Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, on Monday, reported TOI citing media reports. Anmol is currently facing charges in 18 criminal cases, and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has placed a reward of Rs 10 lakh for his capture.
Anmol is believed to be involved in the murder of Baba Siddique, which he allegedly helped orchestrate. Police investigations suggest that he provided both logistical and financial support for the attack, including arranging weapons through Sujit Sushilsingh, another accused in the case.
Further details indicate that Anmol shared photographs of Siddique and his son, Zeeshan, via Snapchat with the hired gunmen. The shooters reportedly conducted a reconnaissance of the area a month prior to the murder.
In addition to his alleged involvement in the Siddique murder, Anmol is also connected to other high-profile cases, including the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. Authorities believe he was also involved in planning attacks against various Bollywood figures.
