Janakpur [Nepal] December 02 (ANI): Nepal's ancient city of Janakpur is undergoing a vibrant transformation as it prepares to celebrate Bibah Panchami, marking the divine wedding of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. Artists are busy beautifying the city walls with Mithila murals depicting significant events from the Ramayana. This year’s Bibah Panchami holds special significance as it follows the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lala at Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir. Over 500 devotees, forming Lord Ram’s wedding procession, are traveling from Ayodhya to Janakpur. They will be welcomed with grand festivities at multiple stops before arriving in Janakpur on December 3. The celebrations are set to evoke memories of the Treta Yuga, immersing devotees in the divine essence of the Ramayana and showcasing Janakpur’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
