
LPG Cylinder Price Drop: The government has lowered LPG prices as a significant New Year’s present to consumers. In a number of cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai, the cost of LPG cylinders has been drastically reduced. The commercial gas cylinder weighing 19 kg is now priced at Rs 14.50 less.
In the meantime, the cost of the 14-kilogram household cooking gas cylinder has remained unchanged.

The price of the 19 kilogram commercial cylinder in Delhi has decreased by Rs 14.50, from Rs 1818.50 on December 1, 2024, to Rs 1804.
The 19 kilogram cylinder used to cost Rs 1771 in Mumbai, but now it just costs Rs 1756.
The cost of a 19 kg LPG cylinder in Kolkata has decreased by Rs 14.50, from Rs 1980.50 to Rs 1966.
The cost of the cylinder in Patna has been lowered from Rs 2072.5 to Rs 2057.

December price increases: The cost of LPG cylinders went up in December. Commercial LPG cylinders were now more expensive thanks to government oil corporations. Indian Oil claims that the cost of the 19-kilogram LPG cylinder has gone up by Rs 16.50. There had already been a price increase in November before that. Notably, the first day of each month is when government oil firms fix the price of LPG cylinders.
