Indian Embassy in Nepal celebrates 76th Republic Day with patriotic fervour

Kathmandu (Nepal), Jan 26 (ANI): The Indian Embassy in Nepal celebrated the 76th Republic Day with patriotic fervour. The event began with the Indian national flag being unfurled by the Ambassador of India to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava. Hundreds of Indian nationals in Nepal attended the ceremony where Indian President Droupadi Murmu's address was screened. After the screening, the Indian Ambassador distributed books to several educational institutions at the event. Govt insured compensation were given to the next of kin of Gurkha soldiers who have lost their lives in service to their homeland. The celebrations featured cultural performances by students from the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre and Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Kathmandu.
