Crores of people have opened their account in Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). A new update has been released to LIC for the safety of its customers. LIC has said that customers need to stay away from fraud.
Beware of those who give bonus with money
On 28 February 2025, a public notice was issued by LIC stating that if you have any kind of unknown call, message or email, there is no need to respond. Do not respond if a person demands money for updating KYC details or for any benefit from bone.
Keep in mind that Call/SMS/Whatsapp/E-Mail is never done by LIC for KYC verification. At the same time, an appeal has been made to the customers that they should never share their personal, bank details. There is a need to avoid online fraud. If you get any fake call or message, then complain on National Cyber Crime Portal or Helpline Number 1930.
