On the homepage, click on the link related to “Lekhpal Recruitment 2025” or “Apply Online.”
Step 3: Login via OTR
Now log in using your OTR number, date of birth, and captcha code. Candidates who have already completed OTR registration do not need to register again.

Revision in the number of posts
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has revised the reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs). In the advertisement issued on December 16, 1,441 posts were reserved for OBCs. After the revision, 2,158 posts are now reserved for OBC candidates. The number of posts for SCs and STs has also increased.
UP Lekhpal Vacancy 2025: How many vacancies are there after the revised reservation?
In the revised UP Lekhpal recruitment, the number of posts for the General category has been reduced, while seats for the OBC category have been increased.
The revised distribution of posts is as follows:
General: 3,205 posts (decrease of 905)
Scheduled Caste (SC): 1,679 posts (increase of 253)
Scheduled Tribe (ST): 160 posts (increase of 10)
Other Backward Class (OBC): 2,158 posts (increase of 717)
EWS: 792 posts (no change)

UP Lekhpal Selection Process: Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their PET-2025 scores. Only those who have participated in PET-2025 and received their scorecard from the Commission will be eligible. Candidates with zero or negative marks will be excluded from the shortlisting.
This will be followed by a two-hour written examination consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions covering topics such as Indian history, geography, economics, national and international events, computer and information technology, and general knowledge of Uttar Pradesh.
