Royal Challengers Bengaluru fast bowler Yash Dayal has been accused of emotional, physical, and mental exploitation by a woman who claims to have been in a relationship with him for the past five years. The woman, a resident of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, submitted her complaint through the Chief Minister’s online grievance portal (IGRS), seeking justice after allegedly facing abuse and deception.

In her detailed complaint, she states that Dayal led her to believe they would get married. According to her, he introduced her to his family as their future daughter-in-law, deepening her trust in him. “Over the last five years, he misled me with repeated promises of marriage. I was emotionally, mentally, and physically exploited under this belief,” the woman wrote.

The accusations go further. She claims that upon confronting Dayal about his alleged betrayal, she faced physical assault and was subjected to severe mental harassment. She also alleged that she was made emotionally and financially dependent on him during their relationship—only to later discover that he was reportedly involved with other women at the same time.

Feeling cornered and unsupported, she said she reached out to the women’s helpline (181) on June 14, 2025, but claims the matter stalled at the police station level. With limited financial means and lacking social support, she turned to the Chief Minister’s office for help.

According to her submission, she possesses chat logs, screenshots, video call recordings, and photos, which she says substantiate her claims. Her appeal includes a call for swift and impartial investigation, emphasizing that action in this case could protect other women from facing similar experiences.

"This request isn’t just about justice for me—it’s for all the women who’ve been misled and wronged in relationships like this," her complaint concluded.

Yash Dayal, 26, played a key role in RCB’s remarkable IPL 2025 championship win earlier this month, taking 13 wickets across 15 matches. Though he has featured prominently in domestic cricket for Uttar Pradesh, he has not yet made his debut for the Indian national team.
