Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Gold prices in Bangalore continued their downward trend on Saturday, June 28, falling further from their recent all-time highs. This decline reflects a broader trend seen across major Indian cities, driven by an easing of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East which has reduced the precious metal’s appeal as a “safe-haven” asset.
For weeks, global uncertainty had pushed investors towards the safety of gold, causing prices to soar. However, with the immediate risk of a wider conflict appearing to subside, demand has softened, leading to a noticeable price correction.
In Bangalore, the price for 24-carat gold is currently trading at ₹97,420 per 10 grams, down from ₹98,020 the previous day. Similarly, 18-carat gold has also seen a drop.
